About Me
I’m Wendy. I hold a Master’s in Psychotherapy and am registered with the HCPC — the professional body that ensures therapists meet national standards of care and ethics.
I am informed by a variety of approaches:
Alongside psychodynamic, humanistic and behavioural ideas, I also draw on my creative arts therapy background. This means that when talking feels limited or stuck, I can gently weave in expressive and creative elements to help you connect with your experience in a grounded, accessible way. These are just options, offered only if they genuinely support you.
My aim is to make therapy feel human, warm and personal - a space where you can explore what’s going on at your own pace, without pressure or judgment.
Mosaic Tree Therapy was created as a space for people - not labels - to come exactly as they are.
A place to explore, rebuild, and grow through life’s changes.
Safe. Compassionate. Creative. Non-judgemental.
Who I work with:
Adults and children who have experienced trauma
People navigating grief, loss, or change
Those struggling with anxiety or low mood
Neurodivergent clients who want to feel understood and accepted
You are so much more than any diagnosis. Together, we will find your strengths and your way forward.
Why Work With Me?
Compassion is at the heart of my work. I get it. I’ve been there. And I know how powerful creativity can be in helping people feel safe and seen.
I’ve worked in schools, the NHS, and I currently work part-time at the The Priory, with both adults and children.
I am HCPC-regulated and a full member of BADth. This means I meet the highest standards of safety, ethics, and accountability.
How I Work
No two people are the same. No two therapy sessions should be the same.
Some clients like talking therapy. Others feel safer using creativity. Often, it’s a mix of both.
Here are some of the tools we might use:
This is my pooch, Lindy.
She sometimes joins sessions (only if you like dogs, of course).
She’s not exactly calm - but she does remind us what it’s like to live fully in the present.
Here are some of the tools we may use in our work together, but only if they suit you. My approach is fully person-centred, which means we follow your interests, your pace, and what feels right for you:
• Art, story, music, and myth
• Play therapy, puppetry, and improvisation
• Gaming and creative media
• Boxing-based therapeutic movement
• Talking therapy and coaching
• Boxing (I’m Fighting Chance certified)
I bring creativity and compassion.
You bring your story.
Together, we find what works for you.
Why Mosaic Tree?
A mosaic is made of broken pieces. When arranged with care, those pieces become strong and beautiful.
A tree shows that growth is possible, even after storms. Every branch, every leaf, every root has value. Even fallen leaves give life to the soil.
To me, this is therapy. There are no bad parts. Every part of you belongs.
